FREE TO ENTER - Lichess ECF Online Rated Blitz - Mondays 8pm

The Isle of Wight International will take place between 18th and 23rd Feb 2025.  To promote it we are running regular rated Blitz on Lichess. We will try to vary the prizes as we go. This will repeat every Monday at 8pm GMT.

The event will be ECF Online Blitz rated. All players must have an existing ECF profile.

Time control 5 minutes + 3 second increment

7 round Swiss

To enter the Lichess competition you must first check out with a free ticket to provide your ECF details then enter the competition on our lichess team page, the link and access code are in the confirmation email. We need this information to ECF rate the games and ensure you are a genuine player. You only need to do this once.

Your access code will be in the confirmation email.

Prizes (Players are eligible to win one prize in a 90 day window, prize goes to next player if you have already won)

• 5th Aug - 50% off IOW 2025 Congress if over x10 players
• 12th Aug - Different event - Wildcard + Hotel competition - enter here, separate registration 
• 19th Aug- T Shirt if over 10 players
• 26th Aug - 50% off IOW 2025 Congress if over x10 players

Prizes are not redeemable for cash value or transferable. If your Lichess account is blocked for cheating within 90 days of winning the prize, your prize will not be valid and you will be blocked from future events.
